Boo! The Dog Blog

Best dog-friendly bars in Wigan and beyond.

Welcome to the Boo Review !

We like to spend as much time as we can with Boo. So, having a swift tipple in a local establishment a couple of weeks ago we wondered which of our locals are the most dog-friendly bars.

So, what better excuse to launch the ‘Boo Review’ to find out which are the best pubs for dogs?

Of course, we’ll focus on our local area and, maybe sometimes, beyond.

Why not find the best dog-friendly bars?

Last summer we enjoyed quite a few lovely, sun-lit evenings with couple of drinks or so during our dog walks.

It was great sitting outside some cool little bars and pubs. Of course, all were within walking distance but far enough away for Boo to get a good stretch of those old legs.

And our excuses for doing the Boo Review are:

  • It an opportunity to give our locals a bit of good publicity. Of course, especially those that welcome Boo and are the best dog-friendly bars and pubs.
  • It’s a blinkin’ good excuse to go out for a little tipple at least once a week.
  • Something to share on Boo’s blog and a bit of fun too.
  • Finally, it is something we can do together with Boo.

Our reviews will be completely honest and totally focused on dog-friendliness. In addition, the aim is to celebrate those pubs and bars that welcome our beloved friends of the four-legged variety! (Well, mostly four-legged.)

So here it is, the first Boo Review
